Okay so we haven't had a play date in forever and maybe it's just me but I am tired of the cold weather and being cooped up. So let's play!!! How about my house tomorrow at 11:00. Since this is so last minute, I was thinking we could all pitch in $3 and get pizza from Papa Murphy's. No matter how many kids you have, if everyone could bring $3 that would be awesome and totally cover the pizza. Or we could just do sack lunches. Comment if you have an prefrence. Hope you all can make it!!!

Girls night out...

Just decided last night to have a girls night out. Everyone is invited. We are going to be going to dinner and possibly bowling or downtown just to hang out. We are leaving at about 6, if you want to come, call me and I will give you the details. I am in the phone book. :) I am planning on staying out until at least 10 so that means the hubbies would be in charge of putting kids to bed. If you would want to leave earlier than that, you might want to drive. Hope you girls can make it. Should be lots of fun!!!

Burger Den on Tuesday

Okay so I don't know where I came up with "The Big Bun" I am an idiot. Sorry about that. Since we are meeting at the Burger Den on Tuesday at 11:30, I am going to postpone the play date at my house until further notice. Let's just enjoy time with Cami and saying good bye. Also I am looking for someone to take over the blog or we could just end it. It doesn't seem to be a good form of communication, and to be honest I am getting a little warn out. So if anyone wants to head up play dates, it's all yours. Hope everyone is doing well. -Kendra

Zoo Reminder

Thursday June 4th: Cheap day at the zoo. Let's try it again and hopefully the weather will be nice. Meet at 11 am close to the front doors and bring your own lunch or buy one there.

My weather report icon says this: High: 82 Low: 54 Chance of rain: 30% and Isolated thunderstorms. I am hoping those will happen at night. At about 10:15 I will see what the weather is doing and that will determine if I am going or not.

Father's Day Idea:

I tried twice to turn the pictures but it didn't work, so just turn your head. Ha. So I got this idea from my step sister and did it a couple of years ago and it turned out really cute. I am going to do it again but since I have 2 kids now, they will take turns and share one of the letters. Then you buy a 3 slot frame to put them in. It's a really cute, pretty cheap idea that Dad will cherish. You can buy the letters at Wal-mart for super cheap.

Farwell Lunch for Cami P.

So we all know that Cami P. is leaving us very soon. We will be having a "farwell" lunch for her on June 9th, (Tuesday). Cami would like us to meet her at The Big Bun in Kuna at 11:30. And congradulations on the new babies who are just too cute. Cami had her baby boy and sorry I suck because I don't know the date or his name. Yikes. And Anna B. had her baby on May 27th, Logan Alex Beal. Congradulations ladies!!!!

Next 4 Play Dates...

Okay, so I am planning these in advance so we kind of have a schedule of activities, and then I will repost each week as a reminder.

Thursday June 4th: Cheap day at the zoo. Let's try it again and hopefully the weather will be nice. Meet at 11 am close to the front doors and bring your own lunch or buy one there.

Wednesday June 10th: Play date at Kendra N's. We will all be outside, so sunscreen up the kids. I will provide hot dogs and buns. It would be nice if we could have someone sign up to bring chips, grapes, drinks for the kids, brownies, etc. That way we don't have 8 bags of chips. I have a play place, a mini pool, and a beach ball that sprays water, so plan on your kids getting wet. Plan on 11.

Thursday June 18th: Free movie day at Edwards. The show will start at 10 am; first come first serve on seating. They will be showing Madagascar 2 and it's the Edwards by Cole and Overland.

Wednesday June 24th: Rafiki's play date. Very fun play center. Has couches for the mom's, dress up, coloring station, sand station, slides, climbing center, baby section for babies, and lunch is available but spendy. To get in is kind of spendy. Mom's are free but every kid over 1 year is like $7. Off of state Street, more info to come.

Think about other things that you'd like to do and if you'd want to host again. I will see if maybe we could go to the church gym one time and mom's can work on crafts while kids play. Hope everyone is doing well.

Heidi M.'s play date...

Play date at Kuna Park on Wednesday at 11:30. Heidi M. will be hosting and providing a lunch. If you'd like to bring something, that would be great, but it's not required. The weather should be nice and warm. Look forward to seeing all of you there.

Hey ladies, the votes have been cast, let's meet at the zoo at 11 am on Thursday, May 7th. The zoo does allow outside food and drink and they also have concessions. It is half price on Thursdays so it might be kind of busy. Should be lots of fun!!!

Okay so it's going to be rainy again this week, so let's do something else. Here's 2 ideas, please vote as to which idea you would like. Thursday we could go to the zoo, it's half price day, and the weather should be pretty good. Or we could go to a place called Rafiki. It's kind of far away on State Street and it's kind of pricey. You can check out their website at www.rafikiplay.com. That would also be on Thursday. Both of the events would be at 11, let the voting begin!

So the playdate was awesome at Megan P's house. She has such a beautiful home with lots of fun things for the children to play with and the food was great. Thank you for hosting, we had a blast. Heidi M. has volunteered for next week, April 29th!! She would love to do it at the Kuna park at 11:30, and she will provide food, (bring something to share if you want.) If the weather is bad, it will be pushed back to the following week, same time and place. We can't wait!!

The idea was presented for there to be a place where we could go to find out where and when play date would be held. So we created this blog. Playdate has kind of fizzled out and for those of us who still want it, we need some ideas.

-Did it fizzle out because the idea of providing food for everyone is overwhelming? Would it be best to do a pot luck?

-I know for me, I have a really hard time wanting to host again when there are people that haven't hosted yet.

-I know some people have also said that it's gotten too big. Well today we only had 4 women, including the host. So we need you to come out again.

-Also we were wondering about doing it on a different day. Does Monday work for you or would another day work best?

-We could find out if we could do one or two at the church, once the gym is finished. And when it gets warmer we can go to parks and play in people's backyards.

-Some people have said that they would host if their house was bigger, well I think every one in the play dates house is small, smaller anyways.

-While we are on the subject, any ideas or volunteers for next week?

-Also, do you want your blog listed so people can get to know you better?

Anywho, tell us what you're thinking, we really want to know.
